In defiance of the giant red A and the shame it bestows.      Does the image move you?  What would make it more powerful?    I have several other frames and poses, but this one spoke to me the most.   What message do you see?    How could light,  frame, pose, or composition improve the shot?    Advice on post is welcome too.

Hi Scott welcome to " The Real Critique " The Scarlet Letter a story written in the 1850's  about Hester Prynne who conceveives a daughter with a man to whom she is not married. Well Scott I think you have to first stop and think this is 1x.com and in selection members will not give a hoot to what the book means to the image you have around three to four seconds before the vote goes for you or against you. - Not to mention all the members who don't read english.

As a stend alone image  - Well framed and composed I like the off centre frame - it's very high quality I find the shadows a little heavy bottom left but tha't me being picky - I think the pose works with great skin tones. - Do I see it published maybe but not awarded. It's an image that make the viewer stop and think. That part works well. But I have to ask will the rank and file members give this image the time it needs to breathe... If I had to mark this image old school of 30 -

27/30  Highly Commended
